How did we do?” Rosie wrote in her video. “We wanted to recreate the photos and surprise everyone on our recovery day.”</p> <p>In their recreation, Justin wore Rosie's white strapless gown and Rosie dressed in Justin's wedding day suit as they snapped some adorable photos. </p> <p>The big reveal went viral online, with Rosie documenting their story in a TikTok which has over 10 million views. </p> <p>One viewer said they were "Obsessed!" with the photos, while another praised Rosie's new look, saying “You absolutely ate it up in that suit, my god.”</p> <p>And while many commenters pointed out that as darling as Rosie and her hubby looked, the real stars of this TikTok show were her parents.</p> <p>“Your parents hair?? The drinks?? The cig?? Perfection” wrote one.</p> <p>“Your Dad looks like Neil Diamond in his early years,” pointed out another, while another viewer thought "it was a deleted scene from <em>Parent Trap</em>,” noting her father's resemblance to Dennis Quaid. </p> <p>Other viewers were quick to comment on how reflective and sweet the recreation photos were, with one person writing, "This is such a cool tradition to carry on!! Office worker sent home for “distracting” outfit

<p dir="ltr">An office worker has claimed she was sent home from work for wearing a “distracting” dress. </p> <p dir="ltr">US woman Marie Dee wore a black figure-hugging dress with a high neckline to her office on a standard work day, but a human resources employee allegedly deemed her outfit inappropriate.</p> <p dir="ltr">The mother-of-two secretly filmed herself being confronted by the “HR girl” who dubbed her dress “way too revealing and distracting” for the office.</p> <p dir="ltr">“Guys it happened again, I’m getting sent home for my outfit,” Marie said in the viral TikTok video.</p> <p dir="ltr">“This is getting ridiculous.”</p> <p dir="ltr">The footage shows Marie walking over to the HR employee’s office to ask what was wrong with her outfit. </p> <p dir="ltr">“I’m sorry you still can’t wear that. It’s way too revealing and distracting,” the HR woman can be heard saying.</p> <p dir="ltr">Confused, Marie responded, “It’s distracting?” to which the HR staff member replied, “Very.”</p> <p dir="ltr">The video has been viewed more than 20 million times, with thousands of commenters jumping to Marie’s defence. </p> <p dir="ltr">“I’m an HR leader and I think your outfit is professional and polished,” one said.</p> <p dir="ltr">Another wrote, “You look very professional, I think the HR girl is a bit jealous that you are so beautiful.”</p> <p dir="ltr">One suggested, “I’m an HR manager and I would wear that myself!”</p> <p dir="ltr">Another added, “You look great and very professional... "I broke down": Emma Watkins opens up on emotional meaning behind latest outfit

<p dir="ltr">While spotting celebrities in gorgeous gowns isn’t unusual, Emma Watkins’ latest appearance in a pink and gold dress has more meaning than it seems.</p> <p dir="ltr">The former yellow Wiggle revealed that the frock was designed with a particular person in mind, which she wore as an ambassador for Frocktober.</p> <p dir="ltr">"The dress that I'm wearing isn't just a pretty dress. [It was] actually created by a beautiful designer, Jaimie Sortino, and it's in honour of his cousin Jenna that passed away,” she told <em>9Honey</em>.</p> <p dir="ltr">Jenna Crierie was 33 and eleven years into her battle with ovarian cancer, the most lethal gynaecological cancer, when she passed away.</p> <p dir="ltr">"I never actually had a chance to meet her, but I've met Jaimie a few times, that's why those pictures and the dress are quite special," Watkins said.</p> <p dir="ltr">"It really is another reminder of the lives that we've lost due to this disease… even though half of us didn't actually get to meet her, it felt like she was there."</p> <p dir="ltr">Endometriosis, a condition which affects one in nine Australian women including Watkins, is among the known risk factors for ovarian cancer, though there are no early detection tests.</p> <p dir="ltr">Watkins recalled how she was brought to tears when she met Leanne Flynn, one of millions of women who had ovarian cancer that was caught too late, for the Ovarian Cancer Research Foundation’s Frocktober campaign.</p> <p dir="ltr">"She was telling her story about what she's been going through for the last five years, the multiple surgeries and tests. I basically just cried," Watkins said.</p> <p dir="ltr">"I broke down in front of the audience, I wasn't expecting to hear such a poignant and connected story to do with the disease itself. Ever since then, I've been highly involved."</p> <p dir="ltr">As a Frocktober ambassador this year, Watkins is fighting to ensure that experiences like Crierie’s and Flynn’s are no longer as common.</p> <p dir="ltr">Even pap smears can’t catch ovarian cancer early, which the 33-year-old said said frustrated her.</p> <p dir="ltr">"That's why it's frustrating, because normally women don't get to pick this up early on. That's the issue," she continued.</p> <p dir="ltr">"When I found that something wasn't right with me, I was already stage four endometriosis. And the same thing with Flynn, you're just too far along."</p> <p dir="ltr">With vague symptoms - think abdominal and pelvic pain, boating, appetite loss, unexplained weight changes and tiredness - and nowhere near the same publicity as diseases such as breast cancer, it can be hard for women to find out before it’s too late.</p> <p dir="ltr">"I think women should be more cautious," Watkins said. </p> <p dir="ltr">"Even for endometriosis, that wouldn't have been picked up with a pap smear."</p> <p><span id="docs-internal-guid-b4a53489-7fff-ddd3-653c-7c5df5314124"></span></p> <p dir="ltr">While it might be too late for women who have been diagnosed with late stage cancer, Watkins hopes that campaigns like Frocktober can spark change in the years to come.</p> <p dir="ltr"><em>Images: @emmawatkinsofficial (Instagram)</em></p>

Why Harry didn't end up wearing military outfit to Queen’s funeral

<p dir="ltr">Prince Harry’s uniform has been the subject of heated discussion following the death of his grandmother Queen Elizabeth II.</p> <p dir="ltr">The former working royal first made headlines after he was spotted in a suit during royal events where Prince Andrew was wearing his military uniform.</p> <p dir="ltr">Despite his father, King Charles III, giving Prince Harry permission to wear his dress uniform at Queen Elizabeth II’s vigil over the weekend, the 38-year-old arrived at Westminster Hall in his morning suit during <a href="https://www.oversixty.co.nz/lifestyle/family-pets/final-farewell-for-longest-reigning-queen" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Monday morning’s service</a>.</p> <p dir="ltr">The prince added his medals to his black suit jacket which he wore while walking in the procession to and from Westminster Abbey during the funeral.</p> <p dir="ltr">But he wasn’t the only one not in uniform, after Prince Andrew was also prohibited from wearing official military dress during the service.</p> <p dir="ltr">The <a href="https://www.oversixty.co.nz/news/news/major-backflip-over-prince-harry-s-military-uniform-rules" target="_blank" rel="noopener">changes to uniform permissions</a> came after the palace announced that only working members of the royal family who hold a rank could wear military uniforms at the funeral, with both Prince Harry and Prince Andrew being excluded from that category after leaving royal life.</p> <p dir="ltr">A source told<em> Page Six </em>last week that Prince Harry was just “prepared to wear whatever his grandmother made plans for”.</p> <p dir="ltr">“He’s focused on honouring her and that’s it,” they said.</p> <p dir="ltr">In a statement, the prince said what he wore wasn’t reflective of his military service.</p> <p dir="ltr">“Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex will wear a morning suit throughout events honouring his grandmother. His decade of military service is not determined by the uniform he wears and we respectfully ask that focus remain on the life and legacy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.”</p> <p dir="ltr">During the funeral, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were seated in the second row behind King Charles III and Camilla, the Queen Consort.</p> <p dir="ltr">Meghan was spotted wearing a touching tribute to her grandmother-in-law, donning pearl earrings the Queen gave her in 2018.</p> <p dir="ltr">After the service, the couple walked behind the Queen’s coffin, with Prince Harry joining male family members for a procession through London streets ahead of her burial at Windsor Castle.</p> <p dir="ltr"><em>Image: Getty Images</em></p>

Queen Elizabeth's coronation outfit goes on display

<p>In celebration of Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee, the dress, robe and jewels she wore for her coronation in 1953 are being displayed in Her Majesty's residence at Windsor Castle. </p> <p>The Sir Norman Hartnell coronation dress and Robe of Estate are now on display in the largest room in the castle, in the spectacular setting of St George's Hall.</p> <p>The eye-watering jewels include a platinum, gold and silver set diamond necklace, which features 25 graduated cushion-shape brilliant cut diamonds with a central drop-shape pendant, and are accompanied by matching earrings.</p> <p>They were originally created by Garrard for Queen Victoria in 1858 and will be available for viewing in the Lantern Lobby.</p> <p>The exhibition also features other key jewels, including a number of brooches from around the Commonwealth - with the Australian wattle and New Zealand silver fern brooches amongst those on display.</p> <p>Also featured in the display are the first official portraits taken of Her Majesty, as well as unseen photos that document her accession. </p> <p><iframe title="YouTube video player" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/lgPowhnhSA8" width="560" height="315" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen="allowfullscreen"></iframe></p> <p>The collection, titled <em>Platinum Jubilee: The Queen's Coronation</em>, opened to the public on Thursday and runs until September 26th. </p> <p><em>Image credits: Royal Collection Trust / Getty Images</em></p>

Marilyn Monroe dress designer weighs in on Kim Kardashian’s Met Gala outfit

<p dir="ltr">The designer who sketched Marilyn Monroe’s original ‘Happy Birthday, Mr President’ dress has weighed in on Kim Kardashion’s choice to re-wear the dress at the Met Gala awards - and his opinion of it is less than glowing.</p> <p dir="ltr">In a recent interview with <em><a href="https://ew.com/celebrity/bob-mackie-kim-kardashian-wearing-marilyn-monroe-dress-big-mistake/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Entertainment Weekly</a></em>, 82-year-old costume designer Bob Mackie described Kardashian’s controversial outfit choice as a “big mistake”.</p> <p dir="ltr">“[Monroe] was a goddess. A crazy goddess, but a goddess,” he told the publication.</p> <p dir="ltr">"She was just fabulous. Nobody photographs like that. And it was done for her. It was designed for her. Nobody else should be seen in that dress."</p> <p dir="ltr">Mackie, whose claim to fame includes dressing Lucille Ball, Judy Garland and Cher, sketched the design for Monroe’s gown in 1962.</p> <p dir="ltr">He then sent the sketch to his boss, French fashion designer Jean Louis, who made the gown a reality.</p> <p dir="ltr">Kardashian caused a stir after she reached out to Ripley’s ‘Believe It or Not’ museum in Orlando - which famously bought Monroe’s gown for $6.7 million in 2016 - and was allowed to try it in a private fitting.</p> <p dir="ltr">They then workshopped how she could “fake” fitting into the dress for the 2022 Met Gala, in a move that has caused concern among fashion historians and collectors.</p> <p dir="ltr">Scott Fortner, a Marilyn Monroe artefact collector, told <em><a href="https://people.com/style/bob-mackie-marilyn-monroe-kim-kardashian-2022-met-gala/" target="_blank" rel="noopener">People</a></em> that, since the dress was exclusively designed for Monroe and involved her being nude while it was sewn to her body, it can be deduced that some “stress” was done to the dress when Kardashian gave it a try.</p> <p dir="ltr">“The gown worn by anyone else will not be a precise fit,” Fortner said. “In this case, Kim Kardashian's measurements are somewhat different than Marilyn's. Date sends woman home for not liking her outfit

I spent 40 minutes on my makeup to meet his friends and coworkers at a grand opening for the retail company he works for.”</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">“He was too embarrassed to be seen with me in this outfit, so he sent me home in an Uber and went to the opening without me.”</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">Nikki shared the details of her fleeting relationship with her online followers, as she admitted it was not the first time the man had commented on her appearance. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">She said, “It all started with little comments here and there over the past couple of weeks like “Why are you wearing heels? I like it when you wear tennis shoes. Why are you wearing so much makeup? I really like it when you’re natural.”</span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">After sharing the details, her followers were quick to give her relationship advice. </span></p> <p><span style="font-weight: 400;">One person commented, “ “Remember: This is him in the beginning. This is him on his best behaviour. Class division of society has apparently been reintroduced in England."</p> <p>"The ones you have to be really mad at are UEFA. They should have moved the match [from] where the fans cannot access.</p> <p>"The European Championships should bring people together and spread joy, and now it divides people because many who want to see the semi-finals do not have access to it. <p>A fiery debate has erupted over a Belgian journalist and a former pro cyclist, when he made a crude comment towards a young female reporter’s clothing choice while covering the Vuelta a San Juan in Argentina.</p> <p>Former pro cyclist Sven Spoormakers referred to the reporter’s low-cut top after taking a screenshot of her interviewing one of the riders for television, asking in Dutch: “Is it cool in Argentina?”</p> <p><img style="width: 500px; height: 281.4992025518341px;" src="https://oversixtydev.blob.core.windows.net/media/7834244/firestorm-over-clothing-1.jpg" alt="" data-udi="umb://media/ab48e546884b4172810c54d2768d4cef" /></p> <p style="text-align: center;"><em>The young female reporter was working on the Vuelta a San Juan in Argentina.</em></p> <p>The response was bitter and fiery after numerous fans and pundits condemned him for allegedly sexually objectifying the young reporter.</p> <p>Australian journalist Sophie Smith criticised Spoormakers on his remark, writing: “Seriously? How the Queen conveys messages through her eclectic outfits

<p>The Royal Family often use their wardrobes and fashion choices to reflect a statement, or even share messages without having to say anything. </p> <p>It is a move flagrantly used by the Duchess of Cambridge and Sussex, who usually go out of their way to wear local designers and emblems when they are on royal tours overseas. </p> <p>However it is not just the younger royals who use their wardrobes to convey a message as the Queen has used her brooches, hats and other accessories to make a statement for decades. </p> <p>On Wednesday, Her Majesty wore a striking purple coat and dress with a matching hat while visiting the Royal British Legion Industries Village in Kent. </p> <p>It is one of a series of events the Royal Family will be attending in commemoration of Remembrance Day. </p> <p>Along with the stylish outfit, the royal wore a shining amethyst brooch that once belonged to Queen Victoria’s mother. </p> <p><em>HELLO! </em>magazine noted the brooch can be interpreted as a gesture of comfort for the veterans, and the gem in general is viewed as a stone for alleviating sadness and grief during a period of mourning. </p> <p>It is also a stone perceived to be one of peace, with a calming presence, and even protection against harm. </p> <p>However, it could just be possible the Queen enjoyed the colour of the brooch as she is one for colour coordinating. </p> <p>The most senior royal has worn the brooch previously for military-related occasions, including a visit to the Poppy Factory and a Walking with the Wounded reception.</p> <p>Royal sleuths love to consider the statements the Queen is making by what accessories she wears, and the speculation rammed up when the US President visited the UK. </p> <p>It did not go unnoticed that the day Donald Trump landed in the UK, the monarch sported a brooch that had been given to her by former president Barack Obama.</p> <p>It is nicknamed the American State Visit Brooch, and was hand selected by the Obamas to give to Queen Elizabeth during their State Visit to the UK in 2011. </p> <p>While the royal did opt for a different accessory when she officially met with Trump, royal watchers were convinced that Obama’s gift was a deliberate choice. </p> <p>On the second day of the president's visit, she wore a Sapphire Jubilee Brooch -  a gift from Canada. </p> <p>Scroll through the gallery above to see the Queen’s brooches that royal watchers say are a “message.”</p>

Duchess Kate channels Princess Diana in Pakistan tour outfit

<p>Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan’s royal tour in South Africa has already reached well past its halfway mark and it is clear she didn’t leave her beloved style game back at Frogmore cottage. </p> <p>This trip is the first one the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have taken with their four-month-old son, Archie. </p> <p>However, seeing the adorable bub isn’t the only thing that has made headlines all across the world. </p> <p>For her first solo outing of her and Prince Harry’s tour, the royal opted for a plain black jumpsuit which she had previously worn while filming the<span> </span>Forces for Change<span> </span>video published to the @Sussexroyal Instagram account. To glam up the look, she added gold statement earrings and black Manolo Blahnik pumps. </p> <p>One of the most memorable outfits from the Duchess has got to be the daring blue printed frock she wore while toting around her gorgeous son Archie in front of the cameras, for the first time ever. </p> <p>While meeting with Archbishop Desmond Tutu and his daughter at their legacy foundation in Cape Town, the royal looked fresh and at ease in an ultra-chic blue-printed Club Monaco silk dress with a dainty tie waist and navy blue pumps. </p> <p>Another look sported by the 37-year-old mother was one many Aussies and Kiwi’s might remember, as she first showed it off while travelling through the South Pacific for a royal tour. </p> <p>It was a favourite among many - a striped maxi dress by Martin Grant, accessorised with black porcelain earrings, which were designed and created by local South African jeweller Nina Bosch. </p> <p>The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have just one more day left, where they will visit a township near Johannesburg and meet young people and entrepreneurs who are working to tackle the rising unemployment challenge in South Africa. </p> <p>The couple will also take the opportunity to meet with Mrs Graça Machel, widow of the late former President Nelson Mandela. </p> <p>Scroll through the gallery above to see all of Duchess Meghan’s gorgeous looks while on tour in South Africa.</p>

Secret to happy marriage? Couple has worn matching outfits for 70 years

<p>Francis and Rosemary Klontz first met when they were just teenagers at junior high in Auburn, Washington.</p> <p>70 years later, they’re still going strong.</p> <p>When asked about their secret to a successful relationship, they credited their mutual love of music … and matching outfits.</p> <p>“Well, my mother got us matching shirts when we were in high school,” Rosemary explained. “I picked them out – and so … we’ve matched ever since.”</p> <p>“I thought she was the cutest little thing when she came into our town,” Francis recalled.</p> <p>“By the time we were seniors [at school], we started going together,” he said.</p> <p>They both tied the knot at just 19 years of age.</p> <p>Now they’re both 87-years-old, with Francis being all too familiar with the term “happy wife, happy life” as he let’s his wife choose his outfits every day.</p> <p>“She just lays it out for me, and I don’t have to worry about a thing!” he said.</p> <p>And while they both share the same passions, the duo say the secret to their everlasting marriage is remaining in-sync with one another.</p> <p>“Jesus first, others second, yourself last – that’s the way to spell ‘joy’,” Rosemary said.</p> <p>Scroll through the gallery above to see the stylish duo in action.</p>
