Couple find love and wed in their retirement home

<p>Robert Holler and Doris Ladner have tied the knot at their retirement home after meeting each other there and falling in love.</p> <p>Robert who is 84-years-old was smitten with 89-year-old Doris ever since she entered Woodland Village Nursing Center in Mississippi.</p> <p>Robert was the first person at the retirement home to introduce himself to Doris and now the pair are inseparable.</p> <p>Last Saturday, the couple had their wedding at Woodland Village with their friends and family joining them to celebrate their love with cake and dancing.</p> <p>Doris looked beautiful in a blue ensemble for the wedding and the couple held hands during the entire ceremony.</p> <p style="text-align: center;"><img width="500" height="375" src="https://oversixtydev.blob.core.windows.net/media/35781/holding-hands_500x375.jpg" alt="Holding Hands"/></p> <p>The administration at Woodland Village, Holly Ford, explained that the couple were the first residents to every marry on the retirement home property.</p> <p>Staff of the retirement home have been touched by the love of couple with the pair always being spotted holding hands and Robert bringing Doris coffee every morning.</p> <p>Both Robert and Doris were previously married and the staff are happy to see them find happiness together.</p> <p>"While many perceive nursing homes as end-of-life care, Ladner and Holler were able to find joy and love in each other's company and spend the rest of their lives together," Holly said. </p> <p><em>Image credit: Dave Ryan via Twitter</em></p>
