Withdrawing cash from an ATM is a convenience we really do take for granted these days. But, as new photo doing the rounds on Twitter this morning proves, we really shouldn’t be so blasé when using these easily-manipulated machines.

This photo, which was shared by London’s Metropolitan Special Constabulary, depicts what appears to be a pretty standard ATM. But, as one off-duty officer discovered, there’s much more to this photo than meets the eye.

“Off duty @MPSNewham Special Constable has sniffed out a covert camera recording the pin pad of this ATM in @MPSWestminster. This is why it is so important to #CoverYourPin when taking out cash,” London's Metropolitan Special Constabulary wrote.

We couldn’t agree more! Have you ever had your cash skimmed at an ATM?
