The cheap item Meghan Markle never travels without
As an actress and a daughter of a former travel agent, Meghan Markle knows her fair share about how to pack when travelling.
Fox News has revealed that there is one beauty item that Prince Harry’s fiancé never travels without.
In a previous interview with Allure, Markle said that she has one go-to travel beauty product because of its versatility.
“The one thing that I cannot live without when I’m travelling is a small container of tea tree oil,” Markle said.
“It’s not the most glamorous thing, but if you get a cut, a mosquito bite, a small breakout, no matter what it is, it’s my little cure-all,” she said.
“It’s inexpensive, it’s small enough to carry on, and I bring it with me all the time.”
According to experts, tea tree oil is said to be beneficial for treating blemishes, insect bites and cuts, as well as being an antiseptic.
Tea tree oil comes from the leaves of a myrtle tree species native to Queensland and NSW.
“My mum was a travel agent, so off-the-beaten-path travel has always been a big part of my life,” Markle added in the interview, adding “my heart is in travel”.
After Prince Harry and Meghan tie the knot, her itinerary will definitely be booked with various public engagements around the world.
