Tiny ocean shack with spectacular ocean views

In this video from Living Big in a Tiny House we meet Grant Lilly who has carved out a nice little patch for himself (in this instance quite literally!).

Mr Lilly is the owner of a tiny little house sitting on a hilltop overlook Rocky Bay on New Zealand’s Waiheke Island, affectionately known as the Lillypad.

Warmly filled with books and Mr Lilly’s artistic creations, the main drawcard of the Lillypad is the spectacular ocean views which, as you can see in the video above, simply can’t be beat. The Lillypad has been a real labour of love for Mr Lilly.

And to think the land was purchased in 1992 for $55,000, and cost him no more than $2000. It goes without saying that we think it’d be worth a lot more now!
