English cottage comes with free theme park tickets

A small cottage in the English countryside is up for sale, and it comes with an unusual bonus for its new owner.

The two-bedroom home in Staffordshire has been listed for £200,000 ($NZ 395,000), and if its new owner moves in they can access free tickets to a local theme park.

According to the Alton Towers Resort website, residents located within a three-kilometre radius can apply for 20 entries to its theme park or water park.

With the charming cottage only a four-minute drive from Alton Towers Resort, the new residents will simply need to prove they live there with a council tax bill.

As well as free tickets, the home also boasts a private garden, exposed stone walls that feature throughout, and a cosy interior of wooden cabinetry, timber floors, terracotta tiles and lattice windows.

Barn-style doors are also found throughout the two-storey house, with the kitchen, lounge, and outdoor porch on the ground floor and two bedrooms and a shared bathroom on the first floor.
