UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson self-isolating

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has been ordered to self-isolate as he came into contact with someone who tested positive for COVID-19.

He was identified as a close contact by NHS Test and Trace on Sunday after a meeting with a group of MPs.

“He will carry on working from Downing Street, including on leading the government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic,” a Downing Street spokesperson said on Sunday.

“The PM is well and does not have any symptoms of COVID-19.”

Johnson was admitted to hospital back in April after testing positive for COVID-19 on March 27th. He was the first major leader to reveal a COVID-19 diagnosis.
