Prince Charles and Camilla celebrate 10 years of marriage with royal Christmas card

2015 marked ten years since Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall tied the knot in a small and intimate service. Now, one decade later it’s clear to see the couple are very much going strong, with the release of a personalised Christmas card featuring the happy pair, which was sent out to friends and family.

The card featured a non-professional photograph of Charles and Camilla, all smiles as they embrace. It’s a refreshing glimpse at their life together away from royal duties, as the couple don casual clothing and a relaxed demeanour.

When Charles and Camilla wed in 2005, their nuptials were unprecedented. Never before had a royal been able to marry a divorcee and keep their position to the throne. Prince Charles’ great uncle King Edward VIII was forced to give up the throne for the woman that he loved, divorcee Mrs Simpson.

Take a look at Prince Charles and Camilla’s personal festive card and their official wedding photos from 2005.
