Princess Charlotte wears Prince Harry's hand-me-downs

The Duchess of Cambridge is known for dressing her children in vintage-inspired clothing – but during their trip to Poland and Germany this week, Princess Charlotte was spotted in the real deal.

Handed down from her uncle Harry, the two-year-old royal landed in Warsaw sporting a pair of red leather buckled shoes – the very same pair of sandals were worn by Prince Harry back in 1986 at home at Highgrove House, People magazine reports.

The red shoes complemented Charlotte's red and white patterned dress, an outfit inspired by Poland's national colours. Prince George wore a checked shirt and shorts in red, white and blue to mimic the British flag.

This isn't the first time Kate has dressed her children in pre-loved clothing.

Last year during their royal tour of Canada, Charlotte wore the same blue cardigan that George had worn 18 months earlier.

George was pictured at this year's Trooping the Colour wearing a white shirt and blue shorts that his father wore in 1984 to Prince Harry's christening.

“They have chosen a very traditional look and are a traditional family," Rachel Riley, a designer who has dressed Prince George on several occasions, told The Telegraph
