Prince Harry says no one wants to rise to the throne

Prince Harry has suggested no one in the Royal Family wants to rise to the throne in a tell-all interview with Newsweek magazine, among other revelations.

During the interview, the 32-year-old royal argued members of the royal family rising to the throne is out of sense of duty, rather than desire, and said the House of Windsor "not doing this for ourselves but for the greater good of the people".

Prince Harry also spoke openly about the distress that was caused by walking behind his mother’s coffin as a 12-year-old boy in public view, saying, "I don't think any child should be asked to do that, under any circumstances.

"My mother had just died, and I had to walk a long way behind her coffin, surrounded by thousands of people watching me while millions more did on television.”

Prince Harry also said he does his own shopping.

"People would be amazed by the ordinary life William and I live,"

"My mother took a huge part in showing me an ordinary life, including taking me and my brother to see homeless people.

"Thank goodness I'm not completely cut off from reality."
