Prince Charles and Camilla’s Aussie “love child” speaks out
After it was announced that Camilla had pulled out of her and Prince Charles’ upcoming trip to Australia to attend the opening of the Commonwealth Games on the Gold Coast, the royal couple’s so-called “love child” has spoken out.
Simon Dorante-Day, who claims to be the son of Charles and Camilla and revealed in October that he plans to take them to court to prove it, says he’s the reason the Duchess of Cornwall cancelled her trip to the Gold Coast.

“When I heard she wasn’t coming, the first thing that came to my mind was that she didn’t want to confront me in court,” he told New Idea.
Dorante-Day says the proceedings will go on even if Charles chooses not to appear. “And based on the evidence I give, the court can rule on my parentage without them even being in there or taking the test.”
Born in the UK in 1966, Dorante-Day was adopted when he was 18 months old. His grandparents both worked for the royal family, one as a gardener and the other as a cook.
He says they both hinted at his real parentage, and before she died, his grandmother allegedly revealed the truth.
After further research, Dorante-Day learnt that Charles and Camilla had reunited in 1965, and just months later, Camilla disappeared mysteriously for nine months while Charles was sent to Australia.
He also claims the names listed on his birth certificate as his parents were made up.
Dorante-Day even penned a letter to the Duchess of Cornwall, asking her to speak up.
“As you are no doubt aware, I have been trying for some time to find my natural birth parents and, as you are no doubt also aware, I believe you are my mother,” he wrote.
“I can remember several instances, when I was very young, where I was taken to meet a woman who looks exactly as you did around that time. If I was to describe her to you it would fit your description to a tee.
“As a mother and grandmother yourself, I am sure you can relate to my frustration, sadness and torment at not being able to resolve this personal issue.”
