Duchess Kate shares rare update on Prince Louis
The Duchess of Cambridge has revealed Prince Louis's new milestone during a public engagement at a child centre on Tuesday.
In her visit to the Henry Fawcett Children's Centre in London, Duchess Kate shared that her 10-month-old son is keeping her on her toes.
"Louis just wants to pull himself up all the time," the Duchess reportedly told fellow parents. "He has got these little walkers and is bombing around in them."
Hello! reported that the 37-year-old royal was chatting to a mother named Kriti, who was there with her nine-month-old son Kameron.
"She took one look at Kameron and said, 'Oh he wants to go walkies'," said Kriti.
"Apparently her son is cruising [pulling oneself up and using furniture to move about] and she said she was running after him all the time."
The Duchess also chatted with Finesse, mother of 23-month-old twins Kamina and Kashay, and asked about her experience raising twins.
"I told her ‘double the trouble’ and she laughed," Finesse said.
"She was just lovely, really down to earth. I never thought she would come down and sit with us, but she did.
"She just wanted to chat about what it was like to be a mum. She said that we all had our ups and downs as parents, regardless of who we are."
Duchess Kate visited the children's centre to learn more about the services provided to parents, carers and children through the Lambeth Early Action Partnership program. She also took part in the 'Together Time' session where parents share and learn parenting tips from each other as well as childcare professionals, as well as the 'Circle of Security' session where mothers discuss their struggles.
Prince Louis, born in April last year, is Duchess Kate's youngest child. He is the fifth in line to the throne behind grandfather Prince Charles, father Prince William and siblings Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
