Duchess Kate gushes about Duchess Meghan’s pregnancy: “It’s such a special time”

When Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan announced they were expecting their child together, the world rejoiced.

And now, Duchess Kate has commented for the first time on the arrival of the new royal bub.

While attending a royal engagement, the Duchess of Cambridge was asked if she was excited about the arrival of the new baby.

"Yeah, absolutely!" she replied, adding, "It's such a special time to have little kiddies."

The mum-of-three also revealed that her adorable kids are also eagerly awaiting a new cousin to play with.

"A cousin for George, Charlotte and Louis as well! It's really, really special," she said.

Kate also gave fans an update on her 7-month-old son, Louis.

"Louis's getting bigger, I can't believe he's like seven months, he's getting to be a big boy," she gushed.

The 36-year-old also chatted about how much George, 5, and Charlotte, 3, are looking forward to Christmas.

"They're getting excited for Christmas time, because they've started all their Christmas songs and the Christmas trees are going up," she said.

Kate was in Leicester with her husband Prince William to pay their respects to five people who died in a helicopter accident in October.

The crash deeply grieved the football world as Leicester City chairman Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha died along with four others.

One other victim, pilot Eric Swaffer, had flown with Prince William only a few months prior during his last visit.

The couple walked around the tribute before meeting family members and friends of the five people who lost their lives.

Kate wore a Catherine Walker coat and plain black heels as she lay a bouquet at the scene of the crash as well as a note.
