Christmas has come early for Downton Abbey fans, with the trailer of the final ever episode of the drama unveiled this week.

The Christmas special is set on New Year's Eve in 1926, skipping four months ahead of the season six finale, which aired last month.

As you can see in the video above, there’s lots in store for the Crawley family before viewers bid them a sad farewell for good.
