Daughter eats breakfast with “daddy doll”
A US mother raising her children while her husband serves his country has shared a picture of her daughter eating with her “daddy doll”.
“Men and women leave their families for weeks, months, or a year and many people will never know what that is like,” wrote the mother on the Love What Matters Facebook page.
The mum goes on to say that her daughter will pretend to feed it, talk to it, and act like he is with us until we are reunited as a family again
“Daddy dolls” are quite comment among military families. It's a reminder of the enormous sacrifices that soldiers and their families make for their country.
