Cop saves terrified sloth stuck on highway

Why did the sloth cross the road? We may never know as one poor sloth in Quevedo, Ecuador never made it to his final destination. He was rescued from the middle of a busy highway road by the police, who posted the pictures of the rescue mission on their Facebook page.

And as you can tell from the smile from the sloth’s face, it seems the cops arrived just in time!
