Baby Sussex is FINALLY here! Prince Harry gushes the "little thing is absolutely to-die-for"

Prince Harry is visibly overjoyed at the birth of Baby Sussex, as he announced the birth this morning via Instagram.

He announced that Duchess Meghan had given birth at 5:26 am on May 6 to a baby boy, who was more than a week overdue.

Prince Harry gushed that the “little thing is absolutely to-die-for”, according to The Daily Mail.

Mum and bub are now recovering at Frogmore Cottage, after being joined by proud grandmother Doria Ragland.

The royal couple are breaking tradition in a mix of old and new, with a royal announcement from Buckingham Palace and a post on Instagram declaring the news.

The Palace said in a statement: “Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Sussex was safely delivered of a son.”

Prince Harry couldn’t contain his excitement, explaining how “incredibly proud” he is of his wife.

“Mother and baby are doing incredibly well.

“It's been amazing, so we just wanted to share this with everybody.

“How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension, but we're both absolutely thrilled and so grateful to all the love and support from everybody out there.”

As for names? The duo are undecided as of yet.

“Still thinking about names,” he gushed.

“The baby is a little bit overdue, so we've had a little bit of time to think about it.

“That's the next bit, but for us I think we will be seeing you guys in probably two days' time as planned as a family to be able to share it with you guys and so everyone can see the baby.”

Prince Harry is clearly very excited to be a parent, saying:

“As every father and parent will ever say, you know, your baby is absolutely amazing, but this little thing is absolutely to-die-for, so I'm just over the moon.”
