In touching video Alzheimer's patients reveal what they want to remember

Alzheimer's disease slowly attacks cognition, robbing patients of a lifetime of precious memories.

YouTube channel WatchCut Video recently sat down with a group of people at varying stages of the illness, aged 49 to 75, to ask them to share some of their most important memories.

Some people recall foggy memories from their infant years, remembering the beating sun or the freezing rain and the thoughts of adventure that rushed through their minds. Yet despite these moments of semi-clarity, most couldn’t remember what they did that morning.

What was common to every participant, was that the most powerful memories from their life seemed to stick, and, in a most emotional revelation, they share what they hope they will never forget.

This beautiful video shows that even while the debilitating disease can rob patients of their memories, it hopefully can never erase true love.

Watch the incredible moments in the video above and tell us, what are some of your most powerful memories? Let us know n the comments below.
