Is Jamie Oliver set to quit?
Jamie Oliver could be quitting after 18 years on television, with a new interview suggesting the celebrity chef is contemplating walking away from it all.
In an interview with The Sun, the star of more than 30 cooking shows admitted he is looking at the prospect of retiring to spend more time with his children.
“I have not told anyone this in the public domain,” Oliver said.
“I am 42 now, I have got five kids and I am sort of actually looking at my days.
“I try to be a good dad. I could retire. So I am kind of going, ‘Well, why do I not take my boy to school every day?’”
Jamie’s eccentrically named family now includes Petal Blossom, Buddy Bear, Daisy Boo, Poppy Honey and baby son River Rocket, who arrived in August last year.
