Prince Harry’s sweet nickname for Meghan Markle
Prince Harry has been overheard calling Meghan Markle by her nickname at an official event in the UK on the weekend.
The 33-year-old royal was heard on camera trying to get his fiancee’s attention during the Invictus Games reception in London, where he called out “Meg” several times before she turned around.
And it’s not just Meghan who has a nickname in this royal relationship.
The 36-year-old bride-to-be’s friend and former agent Gina Nelthorpe-Cowne revealed in a recent interview that Meghan calls Harry “Haz”.
The Invictus Games reception was a particularly special event for the pair – it was where Prince Harry and Meghan made their first public appearance together as a couple at the 2017 Invictus Games, which was hosted in Toronto last year.
Harry and Meghan’s royal duties didn’t end there on the weekend, with the duo joining other members of the royal family – including Prince Charles, Prince William, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie – to celebrate the Queen’s 92nd birthday.
