Behind-the-scenes peek at the Queen’s Garden Party
Every year over 30,000 people from all walks of life are invited to the Queen’s Garden Party at Buckingham Palace.
The Garden Parties are an important way for the Queen to speak to a broad cross-section of the community and to recognise and reward the work of people in public service.
At each Garden Party, around 27,000 cups of tea, 20,000 sandwiches and 20,000 slices of cake are consumed.
