Why we’ve been peeling bananas the wrong way

At a glance, bananas seem like one of the easiest fruits to get your head around, with the stalk seemingly forming the perfect peel-handle, but it turns out we’ve been peeling them in the wrong direction the whole time.

If you take a leaf out of the book of the monkey world, start from the other end, pinch it between your fingers to split the skin, it’s much easier.
