Vegetarian stir fry

Delicious, fresh and aromatic, this vegetarian stir fry recipe is a great way to get your grandchildren to eat their greens, and without any complaints.

Serves: 6

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. In a large bowl, blend cornflour, garlic, 1/2 of the ginger and 2 tablespoons vegetable oil until cornflour is dissolved.
  2. Mix in broccoli, snow peas, carrots and green beans, tossing to lightly coat.
  3. Heat remaining 2 tablespoons oil in a large deep frying pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  4. Stir fry vegetables for 2 minutes.
  5. Stir in soy sauce and water.
  6. Mix in onion, salt and remaining ginger.
  7. Cook until vegetables are tender but still crisp.
