Pear and berry crumbles

Easy and delicious, you may want to make a double batch as these won’t last long!

Serves: 4

Ingredients:

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 190°C.
  2. Place pears in a medium pan, cover with half the sugar and cook on a medium heat for about 10 minutes, or until softened and releasing juices.
  3. Add the berries and bring back to the boil before removing from the heat.
  4. Spoon the fruit mixture into 4 ovenproof ramekins.
  5. Add the flour, butter and a pinch of salt in a large bowl, rubbing with your hands until the mixture achieves a breadcrumb-like consistency. Add pistachios and remaining sugar and stir to combine.
  6. Sprinkle the crumb mixture evenly over each ramekin.
  7. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden, then remove and let cool slightly.
  8. Serve with ice cream or cream and enjoy.
