Chocolate cake without milk, eggs or butter

Prepare yourself for a new kind of chocolate cake recipe, one that can be made without eggs, milk or butter. Yes, you read right – this cake is completely dairy-free and doesn’t even need a mixing bowl! Watch the video for a demonstration of the cake or get the recipe below.

Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 177°C.
  2. Grease a cake pan and add all the dry ingredients directly to the pan and mix.
  3. Make three depressions – two small and one large – in the mixed dry ingredients. Pour the vinegar in one of the small depressions, the vanilla in the other small depression, and the vegetable oil in the large depression. Pour water over all, and mix with a fork until smooth.
  4. Bake on the middle rack of the oven for 35 minutes, until an inserted toothpick comes out clean.
  5. Allow to cool. Top with your favourite frosting and enjoy!
