Hilarious photos show life before and after becoming a parent
It’s common knowledge that life changes dramatically after having a baby, but many don’t realise just how much their lives are about to turn upside down.
So, a hilarious Instagram account called “Got Toddlered” is on a mission to show future parents just what they have to look forward to – as well making parents of grown-ups thank their lucky stars that they’re past it all!
It’s the brainchild of New York blogger and dad-of-two, Mike Julianelle, who wanted to show just how much of a toll kids can take on their parents.
“Obviously, it’s meant to be light-hearted, and no one is seriously blaming their children for the state of their faces or lives, except for me when I seriously blame my kids for the state of my face and my life, which is basically all I do on my blog and Facebook page and Twitter,” he joked to HuffPost.
Julianelle also hopes the photos will help other parents feel less alone in the knowledge that they aren’t the only ones “overwhelmed by this parenting thing”.
