However, one Twitter user has gone viral after sharing her method of restoring old shoes.
Twitter user @sarahtraceyy is the woman behind this clever hack that was responsible for making her regularly worn sneakers look brand new again.
The good news is the hack is super easy and only requires two ingredients that are most likely already in your house.
Sarah shared the method saying, “Ok rinse shoes, mix 1:1.5 of baking soda & detergent, scrub w toothbrush, let it sit for a while, rinse, put in washer, baby powder/dry.”
She then added, "I am a miracle worker."
A shoe hack like this can save precious dollars you can spend elsewhere instead of making a visit to the shoe store.
