The clever trick Duchess Kate will use at Princess Eugenie’s wedding

Most brides expect to be the centre of attention on their big day, but when the Duchess of Cambridge is one of the guests at your wedding then it can be hard to compete.

Duchess Kate is used to being scrutinised over what she chooses to wear to public appearances, which is why she is more than likely to follow this one simple rule when attending Princess Eugenie’s wedding next month.

The Duchess of Cambridge is expected to wear an ensemble that she’s previously donned before to avoid taking any attention away from Princess Eugenie on her special day.

Over the weekend, Kate wore a blue Catherine Walker coat to close friend Sophie Carter’s wedding to Robert Snuggs.

The royal had previously worn the same outfit when she arrived in Berlin during a tour of Germany and Poland in July 2017.

At the wedding of Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan, Kate chose to keep her look understated as she sported a near-identical cream dress to the one she had worn to Princess Charlotte’s christening in 2015.

Kate has also worn recycled outfits to the 2011 wedding of Zara Phillips and Mike Tindall, the 2012 nuptials of Emily McCorquodale to James Hutt and the 2013 wedding of William van Cutsem and Rosie Ruck Keene.
