It’s Sir Elton John’s birthday today, and as much as we adore his music, we think it’s time to revisit our favourite aspect of the “Rocket Man” singer’s stage persona – his delightfully quirky eyewear.
From oversized frames to wild haute couture designs from the likes of Gucci, Chanel and Marc Jacobs, Sir Elton knows just which pair of outrageous specs to accessorise his onstage look. The UK icon loves them so much, he once claimed he owns 250,000 pairs!
