What happens when you confront your shame

It’s a sad reality that many people in our generation were brought up to feel ashamed of thinking or feeling a certain way, often having to censor ourselves from those who oppressed us. As a result, many over-60s today find themselves with an inexplicable sense of shame that can be extremely hard to shift.

In this inspirational TED Talk, vulnerability researcher Brené Brown explains why it’s so important to confront your shame and the amazing things that happen when you do.
