Oliva Newton-John opens up about her cancer battle
She made the heartbreaking announcement in May that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time.
The 68-year-old star has understandably been quiet about her battle. Her daughter, Chloe Lattanzi, shared an update about her mother a few weeks ago, saying, “She’s doing great!”
But now Olivia Newton-John has spoken for the first time about her battle against the disease, revealing that she’s “feeling good”.
Taking to her Facebook page, Oliva released a statement saying she’s keeping positive in the midst of her health woes and was appreciative of all the support.
The star first battled breast cancer in 1992, at the age of 43. She underwent a partial mastectomy, chemotherapy and breast reconstruction. This time the cancer has spread to her back.
