Julia Louis-Dreyfus' son shares touching childhood photo following mum's breast cancer diagnosis
Television star Julia Louis-Dreyfus' son Henry has thanked fans for their support of his mother after she announced she had been diagnosed with breast cancer last week.
The 56-year-old actress announced the news last Thursday, pledging her support to make universal health care a reality in the US.
“1 in 8 women get breast cancer. Today, I’m the one. The good news is that I have the most glorious group of supportive and caring friends, and fantastic insurance through my union,” Julia wrote.
“The bad news is that not all women are so lucky, so let’s fight all cancers and make universal health care a reality.”
Taking to Twitter, Henry shared a throwback photo of him and his mum, with the caption: "I couldn't be more thankful for the outpouring of support for my mom yesterday. Here's a picture of us taken last year. Love to you all".
Julia retweeted the post, along with her own message reading: "I'm thankful, too. And also thankful for my dear boy with good manners".
