Woman lives with dead husband for 8 weeks
A Western Australian woman lived with her deceased husband for weeks before she confided to neighbours that he had died.
Police were called to the house in Greenfields, Mandurah (WA) this week where they found the deceased man in the hallway.
The Mandurah Mail reported that the 56-year-old’s death is not being treated as suspicious, with the man having had serious health issues prior.
The deceased man’s 58-year-old wife is believed to be suffering from mental health issues. When she accepted that he had died, she went to her neighbours for help who alerted the authorities.
The police are preparing a report for the coroner to determine how and when the man died. No charges have been laid.
