If the only interaction you’ve ever had with judges is from times you were on the wrong side of the law, then you’d be forgiven for thinking they tend to be nasty.
But the latest internet sensation is proof you can’t judge (ahem) a book by its cover.
Frank Caprio, municipal court judge in Providence, US, has developed something of a following for his sense of humour, quick wit and tendency to show kindness at the right time.
The 80-year-old’s reputation has been enhanced by the latest video which has Judge Caprio presiding over the case of a man who received a ticket for smoking that he couldn’t afford.
