The 1960s was a huge decade in television. Not only did we get our first glimpse of colour TV, but we stood glued to our screens as we watched the 1969 moon landing, the horrors of the Vietnam War and the Beatles’ first visit on kiwi soil. It was also a decade which brought us some of the most iconic characters of all time.
