This little-known iPhone trick is very satisfying
Smartphone are notoriously tricky devices and most of us barely scratch the surface of what they’re capable of. Apple has shared details regarding a little-known but very satisfying trick that’s a real gamechanger for iPhone users.
If you’ve got a relatively new iPhone model, you can use a trick to make a mouse cursor appear on the screen, which affords you more precision with text boxes.
To activate it, press and hold your finger on the keyboard until it disappears. Then you can slide your finger around the screen and the cursor will follow, a little like a track pad.
You need an iPhone 6s or newer, but this trick can be quite useful, allowing you to drop the cursor in the middle of words and make edits for example.
