Hallelujah! Andrew Lloyd Webber Musicals made FREE online amid pandemic

Amid the coronavirus pandemic that has resulted in a number of theatre shutdowns, strict isolation measures and tough new rules many of us are currently being forced to follow, filmed versions of Lloyd Webber’s musicals will be made available for free viewings online.

To bring a little cheer to our self-isolation situations, familiar musicals many of us can recognise will be available to watch on the YouTube channel The Show Must Go On!

The first show in the series set to premier will be Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, on Friday the 3rd.

Inspired by the West End production, the full-length musical stars Donny Osmond, Richard Attenborough and Joan Collins and it will be available for just 48 hours.

The critically acclaimed show includes hit numbers like Go Go Go Joseph, Any Dream Will Do and Close Every Door To Me.

On April 10, the rock musical Jesus Christ Superstar will be the second series premiering to Youtube for another 48-hour period.

Additional musicals by Lloyd Webber will be revealed on the channel weekly, with behind-the-scenes footage also uploaded regularly.
