Woman finds generous surprise in rental DVD
Liz, a Texas nursing student, uploaded photos of a surprise gift of $100 that her mum found inside a DVD that she rented. Her mother had rented a copy of the film Deepwater Horizon from a Redbox rental kiosk.
Liz wrote on Twitter, “My mum was just hoping to relax and enjoy a movie, but instead God blessed her with more.”

The gift was from a man named Marcos who gives away $100 once a month as an act of charity.
In the letter, he wrote, “Every month I take $100 that I’d normally spend on myself and give it away to a stranger. This month, I decided to change it up and put it in a Redbox DVD.”
He ended the letter by saying, “I just ask that you put the money to good use. If you don’t need it, give it away. If you need it, keep it. Have a great day!”
