Rare collection of Marilyn Monroe photos auctioned
At the end of last year, unseen photos of Marilyn Monroe were sold at an auction.
The six photos were only sold for just over $2,000 because collectors were unaware of the importance of the breathtaking shots.
The photos were taken outside New York’s Fox Studios on July 8, 1960. Marilyn Monroe was about to star in The Misfits alongside Clark Gable and Montgomery Clift. The Hollywood icon was in town for hair and costume.
