Growing up fast! Princess Isabella turns 11
Princess Isabella, the eldest daughter of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, celebrated her 11th birthday on April 21 – sharing the birth date with another very famous royal! Queen Elizabeth II turned 92 on the same day.
To honour the occasion, the young royal spent her time enjoying one of her favourite hobbies (and another thing she has in common with the Queen!) – horse riding.
Keen photographer Princess Mary conducted a photo shoot of her delighted daughter, dressed in riding regalia, and her four-legged friend in the great outdoors, with the Danish Royal Family releasing three of the photos of Princess Isabella with horse Lancet.
As the eldest daughter of Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, Princess Isabella is included in the order of succession to the throne, after her older brother Prince Christian.
