Prince Harry & Meghan Markle look so in love in new engagement photos
The palace has released three brand new photos of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, which you can see in the gallery above, and the newly-engaged couple look utterly smitten.
Taken by renowned celebrity photographer Alexi Lubomirski, the duo can be seen embracing, putting on a much more affectionate display than we’re used to seeing from members of the royal family.
“Thank you so much for all of the wonderful comments following the release of Prince Harry and Ms Meghan Markle's engagement photographs,” the Palace said in a statement alongside the snaps.
“The couple are so grateful for the warm and generous messages they have received during such a happy time in their lives. As a way to say thank you, they have decided to share this candid photograph from the day of their portrait sittings directly with all of you.”
Meghan absolutely dazzles in a glamorous $97,000 Ralph & Russo sheer gown, while Harry looks dapper in a blue suit and matching tie.
The gorgeous photographs were captured on the grounds of Windsor Castle – a place close to the couple’s heart, given their upcoming nuptials at the estate’s St George’s Chapel.
“It was an incredible honour to be asked to document this wonderful event, but also a great privilege to be invited to share and be a witness to this young couple’s love for one another,” Lubomirski said of the photo shoot.
“I cannot help but smile when I look at the photos that we took of them, such was their happiness together.”
