Hilarious photo of Prince Charles looks EXACTLY like Prince George

A picture showing a young Prince Charles leaning on a balcony looking bored has just been released by the royal family to mark a special day for the Queen.

Marking the 67th anniversary, of the Queen's celebration, the royal family members honoured it with supporters by sharing a hilariously adorable picture of a bored looking Prince Charles on the Royal Collection official Instagram account.

The Prince of Wales was not much taller than Prince George is now in the stunning photograph which was taken at the Queen's coronation in June 1953. On either side of the royal heir stood the Queen Mother and Princess Margaret.

The adorable image has garnered hundreds of comments from royal fans who found the prince’s pose quite comedic.

“Prince Charles is still waiting,” one royal fan wrote.

Another comment read: “Prince Charles… This could take a while.”

The adorable royal was just four years old when the photograph was taken at his mother’s coronation and is now the longest serving heir-apparent of the country after Her Majesty's 67 years on the throne.

Fans also noticed the picture’s striking similarity to one taken 65 years later of Prince Charles grandson, Prince George.

In 2017, the then 3-year-old royal attended the Trooping the Colour Parade where photographers caught the little prince looking slightly unimpressed.

Even further, commentators pointed out how a snapshot of Prince William from when he was just a young prince looks eerily similar to that of his father and 5-year-old son too.
