Duchess Kate shares special family item that “makes me feel happy”
The Duchess of Cambridge has proudly shared a sweet photograph of her family, during a special show-and-tell with students at a London-based primary school.
The royal attended a special event at London Primary to mark Children’s Mental Health Week. She met with excited smiling children, and while sitting around a table while each person shared something that “makes them feel good,” Kate decided to share her special keepsake.
As the Duchess opened her black clutch bag, she told them: “I’ve got something. It’s not very big. Do you want to see it?
“This is a photograph of my family. These are my children, and this is my husband,” she explained.
“And we like playing outside together and spending lots of time together as a family. And that makes me feel very happy.
“Do you like spending time with your families? What do you like doing sometimes?” the royal asked the young primary school kids.
The 37-year-old Duchess shared a family portrait showing her three children, Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis and her husband Prince William.

The mother of three travelled through two schools in London on Tuesday to mark Children’s Mental Health Week.
The Duchess is the royal patron for Place2Be, a children’s mental health charity. This year’s theme for Health Week is ‘Inside and Out.’
The charity works across England, Scotland and Wales, and with more than 280 primary and secondary schools.
