Duchess Kate’s incredibly sweet moment with young girl
The Duchess of Cambridge was all smiles as she unveiled a new play and learn garden space aimed at children to spend more time outdoors.
The lush playing space is at Hampton Court Garden Palace’s Garden Festival and proved to be a blast for the children invited from charities to play among the garden designed by Duchess Kate.
The Back to Nature space was first debuted at the Chelsea Flower Show in May where royal watchers and fans got to see Prince George, five, Princess Charlotte, four, and Prince Louis, one, play with their parents.
The Duchess said she hoped the garden would help highlight the importance of spending time outside for children’s physical and mental wellbeing.

The 37-year-old looked stunning and simply chic in a Sandro Paris dress for the visit as she chatted with the young visitors.
“These environments enable children to develop skills for life through free play, building their confidence, strength, resilience and social skills," a statement from the Duchess read.
"In addition to the physical and mental health benefits of being in nature, spending quality time with parents and carers outside has a valuable impact on children’s early development.
"In the garden, families can explore together and enjoy nature as a playground."
The glowing mum-of-three explained to the excited youngster her daughter had helped collect the pinecones featured in the garden.
“There are eight, Charlotte helped me find them,” she said.
Throughout the event, the Duchess noticed a nervous eight-year-old Khareesha James who she then pulled aside to a den to give her a few words of encouragement.
“I am shy and she said that’s where she goes when she’s shy – in the tent,” the girl later told reporters.
